Anniston Star
Services for James W. Edmondson, 75, of Lineville, Rt. 2, were today at Dingler's 
Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Jim Arnall officiating. Burial was in the 
adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. Mr. 
Edmondson died Saturday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include seven 
daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth J. Watts, Mrs. Ruth Watts, Mrs. Willie Daugherty, Mrs. 
Mattie Jeffers and Miss Ruby Edmondson, all of Lineville, Mrs. Minnie Parker of 
Sylacauga and Miss Dorothy Edmondson of Millerville; a son, James H. Edmondson of 
Millerville; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Edmondson was a 
Randolph County native and a Clay County resident for most of his life. He was a 
retired farmer and a member of Aldens United Methodist Church.
