Roanoke Leader
Whereas, it has pleased the Supreme Grand Architect of the Universe to take from 
our midst our friend and brother, Thomas Edmondson, who died December 8, 1929, 
and was born Sept. 15, 1838. Be it resolved that we as officers and brethren of 
Weathers Lodge, No. 390, of which he was a member, deeply and regretfully feel 
his loss and know the fraternity has lost a true and loyal Mason and a devoted 
minister of the gospel, as he had long been an active pastor in the county of 
Randolph, he possibly being one of the county's oldest citizens. To his family, 
we as a fraternity do hereby extend our heartfelt sympathy in the loss, they, 
with us, have sustained and commend them in their grief and sorrow to a Being who
