Roanoke Leader
Mrs. G. W. Edwards died at her home one mile west of town on Thursday evening of 
last week. She had been in delicate health for several years but was critically 
ill for only a few days. Her husband and six children survive her. Only one is 
now a resident of this county, Mr. William Edwards. The children from South 
Alabama attended the funeral, which was held on Friday afternoon. Interment was 
in the Center Point cemetery, three miles east of Wedowee.
