Roanoke Leader
Walter Cleveland Evans, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Troy Evans died Friday morning 
at 2 a. m. at the home of his parents near Springfield. Funeral and interment 
were at Rocky Branch Saturday morning at 11 a.m., with Revs. C. S. Heard and 
Ulysse Rollins in charge of services and Quattlebaum directing. The parents and 
also the parental grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Evans, survive.
