CANNADY was called to its future resting place. She was born Feb. 29, 1831. While a young woman she joined the Methodist Church, in which she lived till called to the home triumphant. On January 1, 1854, she was married to Linsy A. CANNADY. They were blessed with several children, all of whom she was connected with the Church. Her life was one in which the fruits of an inward work always shone. Her faith was steady, her hope peaceful and her love joyous. Her death was in full triumph of the Christian faith. On Oct. 11, the funeral services were conducted by her pastor, after which her remains were deposited in Green’s Chapel cemetery. Geo. T. CANADY, aged 63 years, 0 months, 0 days [which would put his birth date as 2 Apr 1842. He died 2 Apr 1905] Their graves are unmarked, as are several other CANNADY/CANADY family members.
