T. and A. J. OWENS, died at the home of her brother, A. J. OWENS, on the morning of the 12th inst., aged 47 years. She had been an invalid for several years, and death came to her as a ministering angel of relief from suffering. Her mother, who lived to a good old age, had preceded her but a few months. ----------------- [Letter to the] EDITOR [of the] TOILER: -- In digging the grave for the interment of the remains of Miss Eucatan OWENS, they dug into an unmarked grave, finding the partial skeleton of a man. The whiskers were in such a state of preservation as to tell almost the age of the man. We should take warning and more zealously guard the dead by placing over them some kind of monument and epitaph to mark their last resting place. W. A. D.
