The deceased’s sister, Mrs. G. C. BRUNSON, was with him, and Monday night began the sad return trip with the remains of her brother. The distressed father reached the scene a few minutes after the demise and is also in the funeral party, which is expected to arrive in Roanoke in time for the burial to occur Friday [28 May 1915] in the family lot in Wedowee. The deceased was 21 years of age. He was a nephew of Mr. W. T. TENANT [TENNANT] and formerly lived in Roanoke. For some years he had resided with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. NOLES, in Atlanta. This untimely death is doubly sad, since it marks the passing away of the last son in the family. Just two years ago Will NOLES, a brother, died of tuberculosis. Much sympathy is felt for the family.
