OBITUARIES:

Marvin Fincher

   (BOWDON, GA.) From the Bowdon Bulletin comes news of the death of a native 
of Randolph County, 76-year-old Marvin Fincher, retired printer and 
newspaperman who had worked for The Bulletin for nearly 66 years in several 
capacities.  His death occurred on Jan. 24, 1983, in West Georgia Medical 
Center, LaGrange, following a brief illness.
   Son of the late William B. and Hattie Cunningham Fincher, he is survived by 
his wife, Mrs. Jewell Glenn Fincher; one brother, Drurery Fincher of Eldorado; 
Ark.; four sisters, Mrs. Rosa Manahan of Winter Haven, Fla., Mrs. Mary Will 
Fincher of Wedowee, Mrs. Sue Stitt of Cedartown, Ga., and Miss Alma Fincher of 
St. Petersburg, Fla. and a number of nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services for Mr. Fincher were conducted at three o'clock Tuesday 
afternoon, Jan. 25, at Bowdon First United Methodist Church, the Rev. Randy 
Mickler and the Rev. Kenneth Forsyth officiating, with interment in the church 
cemetery.
   Steadham-West Funeral Home of Bowdon in charge of arrangements.
