B. Earnest of Cusseta, died Monday in Cusseta, services being conducted Tuesday from the Rocky Branch Baptist church in Randolph County, her native home. Having visited her many relatives in the Valley over a long period of years, Mrs. Fincher was well known and beloved here by friends who came under her courageous, Christian influence. She had been confined to her bed for several years, having fallen and broken a hip from which accident she never recovered. Her membership was in the Rocky Branch church. The body lay in state at the old home place in Randolph County until time for the funeral. The survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Earnest, Mrs. W. J. Ballard of Wedowee, Mrs. T. M. Anderson of Anton, Texas; five sons, W. B. and E. L. of Wedowee, O. K. of Temple, Texas, A. J. of Shawmut, and R. N. Fincher of Auburn; 41 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; also, two brothers, Bud Kirby of Roanoke and S. M. Kirby of Grand Saline, Texas. Burial was in Randolph County, conducted by Johnson and Company.
