Burial will follow in Wedowee Masonic Cemetery with Quattlebaum Brown-Service Funeral Home of Roanoke in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Fincher, the wife of the late Rev. Otis Fincher, a well-known Baptist minister, was found dead in bed at her home Friday morning. She had taught school Thursday, school officials reported, and seemed in good health at that time. Survivors include three nephews Maynard and Dan Stitt of Pensacola, Fla., and Paul Stitt of Warner Robbins, Ga.; seven nieces, Mrs. Frances Rushton and Mrs. Kathryn Lumpkin, both of Wedowee; Mrs. Melva Freeman of LaGrange, Ga., Mrs. Ruth Guitreez of Spain; Mrs. Lois Sasser of Warner Robbins, Ga.; Mrs. Anna Sue Musser of Phoeniz, Ariz., and Miss Jean Stitt of Montgomery, and eight grandnieces and grandnephews. Mrs. Fincher taught the third grade at Wedowee Grammar School for many years and was a longtime member of the Wedowee Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Woman's Study Club, music Club, Alabama Education Association, Randolph Education Association and secretary of the County Teachers Association. Deacons of Wedowee Baptist Church will be active pallbearers.
