Roanoke Leader
A two-year-old Negro boy, the son of Catherine Foster, was run over and fatally 
injured on the highway near the Randolph County Training School about three 
o'clock Monday afternoon, and the automobile involved in the accident failed to 
stop at the scene, according to officers who investigated. The child died in a 
local hospital early Tuesday morning. Late Monday afternoon. Officers P. O. Webb 
and J. V. Benefield arrested Willie Frank Mosley and Ruth Scott, colored, for the 
hit-and-run accident, placing them in the county jail in Wedowee. The automobile 
the accused pair were driving was said to have been borrowed from another Negro.

Additional Comments:
Willie Frank Mosley was sent to prison for manslaughter.
