Freeman, aged 72 years, 3 months and 29 days ( = October 3, 1852 ), died in Houston on Sunday morning at 11:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. H. O'Neal. The remains will reach Bryan Tuesday at noon over the H. & T. C. and funeral services will be held from the McCulloch-Gordon Undertaking Parlors Tuesday afternoon at 1:30, conducted by Dr. Jno. A. Held, pastor of the Baptist church. Burial will follow in the Steep Hollow Cemetery. Besides the wife he is survived three sons: Chas. Freeman of Bronson, Texas; J. H. Freeman of Lineville, Ala.; and Sam Freeman of Bryan; and four daughters: Mrs. J. H. O'Neal of Houston, Mrs. W. Lowery of Houston, and Mrs. G. J. Burroughs and Miss Annie Freeman of Bryan.
