Anniston Star
Services for Mrs. Donella M. Graben, 83, of Oxford, formerly of Clay County, 
were today at Christiana Baptist Church with the Rev. David Porter and the Rev. 
Valter Taylor officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Benefield's 
Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. Mrs. Graben died Monday at Colonial Pines 
Health Care Center in Oxford. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruth East of 
Oxford and Mrs. Virginia Mitchell of Delta; a son, Charles Graben of Warrior; 
three sisters, Mrs. Bertie Whaley and Mrs. Mary Ester Bates, both of Lineville, 
and Mrs. Lucille Greenlee of Talladega; four grandchildren and a great-
granddaughter. Pallbearers were Steve Mitchell, Randy East, Rusty Graben, Joe 
Carpenter, Joe Neal McCollum, Wayne Bates, Hugh Joe Hendrix and Bert Haynes. 
Mrs. Graben was a Clay County native, a housewife and a member of McCollum 
Baptist Church.
