Green Died in Roanoke July 27th Mr. James A. Green died here Monday morning at 6:30 at the home of his son, Mr. Tom Green. Deceased was hurt by an automobile some weeks ago. He was buried at Paran church Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Elder Reese Prather was in charge assisted by Rev. W. E. Lockler. Mr. Green was a good citizen, a Primitive Baptist, and was 75 years of age. He leaves a wife and several children. Additional Comments: May 27, 1931 While walking along the Roanoke and Wedowee road Sunday morning, Mr. Jim Green, of Whites Chapel's community, was seriously injured when a car driven by Otis Duke, of Concord, ran over him. Mr. Green was rushed to the hospital and is said to be resting very well at present.
