OBITUARIES:

Carey Arlin Gross

   (WEDOWEE) Carey Arlin Gross, age 78 of Wedowee, died Monday, Sept. 30, 1985 
at his residence after an extended illness.
   Mr. Gross was a lifelong resident of Randolph County, a member of Rocky 
Branch Baptist Church, a carpenter and a farmer.
   Mr. Gross is survived by his wife, Minnie Lee of Wedowee; two daughters, 
Mrs. Guy Traylor of Woodland and Mrs. David Kelley of Memphis, Tenn.; one son, 
Dr. Jimmie Frank Gross of Savannah, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Rollins of 
Woodland; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
   Funeral services for Mr. Gross will be held Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Rocky 
Branch Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Godbee officiating.    
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
   Mr. Gross will lie in state at the church one hour.
   Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee is in charge of the arrangements.
