Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Rocky Branch Church with the Rev. W. W. Lankford officiating. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery. Quattlebaum's Funeral Home in charge. Besides his widow, Mrs. Molly Tomlinson Gross, Mr. Gross is survived by eight sons: R. G., of Wetumpka, M. O., Route 3, Roanoke, E. L., of Wedowee, J. T., of Miami, Fla., C. F., of Woodland, J. V., of West Point, Ga., and D. L. and W. M., in the armed services overseas; five daughters Mrs. Robert Yarbrough, of Woodland, Mrs. Frank Richards of Rafel, Calif., Mrs. Curtis Hicks, of Cullman, Mrs. T. H. Bishop, of Birmingham, and Mrs. Joe Tom Burns, of Route 3, Roanoke; twenty grandchildren, and five brothers.
