She suffered an attack of influenza a number of weeks ago, and it is thought that her efforts to serve others in the home, ill at the time, made her condition all the worse. Mrs. Harper was a lovable character, barely 21 years of age, and was a member of the Church of the Disciples. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Caldwell, and is survived by them, several brothers and sisters, and by her devoted husband and infant daughter. Funeral services were conducted at the church on West Point street at 3 p.m. Friday, in the presence of a large company of friends. Revs. C. H. Holder, D. C. McNutt and Belt White had part in the impressive rites. Beautiful flowers attested the love of many friends. Interment was made in the cemetery of this city.
