Haynes died Monday at the Veterans Hospital in Atlanta and his body was sent to Anniston, his native home where a sister, Mrs. Marion Borders resides. At the funeral church services today, the Rev. J.P. Bean officiated and burial was directed by Jones of Anniston. Pallbearers were Wilson White, Elbert Hanson, Gold Yarbrough, Olen Mitchell, A. Lipham and G.D. Graham. Surviving him are his mother Mrs. Z.A. Haynes of Newell; four brothers, Robert of Cullman, Moses of Bowdon, Ga., and Aaron and Cary of Wedowee; six sisters, Mrs. Marion Borders of Anniston; Mrs. Lizzie Gore of Leeds; Mrs. D.E. Townson of Birmingham; Mrs. Hoyt Boyd and Mrs. Boyce Carver of Wedowee and Mrs. Cleveland Crews of Solado, Texas.
