Randolph Star
Rev. John Henderson died at his house in his New Hope community yesterday, after 
an illness of several days. The deceased was about 70 ears of age and had been a 
minister of the gospel for more than thirty years. He leaves a number of 
children all grown besides a number of other relatives. Internment will take 
place today at Liberty Grove Cemetery. Randolph Star. Rev. Henderson lived in 
Clay County two years as pastor of Providence Church. He is well known in the 
county, and he was familiar with the affairs of the Congregational Methodist 
Church. He liked to keep in touch with the people of Clay County and for that 
reason has been on our subscription list for many years, and when in our midst 
he always called to see us. Peace to his ashes, for he was indeed a consecrated, 
good old man
