Tn West Point Press states that on Wednesday evening February 16th Messrs Frank 
Hendon and John Prather were hunting wild turkeys in the vicinity of Rock Mills 
Ala. They were making the usual "yelping" noise to attract the game which caused 
Prather to mistake Hendon for a turkey. The latter behind a bush and night was 
coming on which facilitated the mistake and caused the former to fire shooting 
Hendon through the heart and killing him instantly.
