Raonoke Leader
Mr. Russell Herren was drowned late Thursday afternoon in the Tallapoosa River 
near Lamar. His body was found Friday afternoon about two miles from where he 
sank. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at Harmony, his home 
church, by Rev. Mr. Henderson.
