Mrs. Beek Hester 72 died at her residence here Friday following an illness of 
several months funeral services were held Sunday at the Napoleon Church of Christ 
at Wedowee Ala with the Rey William Spalding pastor officiating. Burial was in 
the church cemetery. Mrs. Hester was a native of Randolph County Ala and had 
lived in LaGrange for two years. She was a member of the Napoleon Church of 
Christ Surviving are: three daughters Mrs. W L Laney of Fort Payne Ala, Mrs. T E 
Laney of Fort Payne and Mrs. Dewey Ramsey of LaGrange a son Charlie Hester of 
Wedowee Ala, two brothers Rile Bowen and E W Bowen of Wedowee Ala and a half-
sister Mrs. Troy Smith of LaGrange.
