Mrs. Josie Nichols Hester 87 route LaGrange died Wednesday at her home following 
an illness of several years Funeral was held Friday at in the Napoleon Church of 
Christ near Wedowee Ala with the Rev Mr. Hill of Langdale officiating assisted by 
the Rev Jim Vowell pastor of the Hilyet Baptish church in LaGrange Mrs. Hester 
was born in Chambers County Ala and had lived near LaGrange for 23 years She was 
a member of the Haywood Church of Christ Survivors are two daughters Misses 
Martina and Lou Hester both of LaGrange, a son J P Hester LaGrange two half-
sisters Mrs. Bud Mitchem LaGrange and Mrs. Dicie West Wedowee Ala a half-brother 
S.C. Nichols Wedowee Ala: six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
