Funeral for Mrs. Edna Hilley Higgins 56 of Phenix City who died Sunday was held 
Tuesday at Union Hill Methodist Church Wedowee Ala. Born May 22 1912, in Cleburne 
County Ala, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Eula Hilley. Survivors 
include a daughter Mrs. Syble Crowley Phenix City, four stepdaughters Mrs. Ruth 
Kemp, Mrs. Opal Green and Mrs. Zetha Goodson all of Heflin Ala and Mrs. Frances 
Strickland Oxford Ala, a stepson Joe Higgins Heflin, a sister Mrs. Cora Hawthorne 
Iron City Ala, and two brothers C. B. Hilley and Robert Hilley both of Anniston 
Ala.
