Roger Hammett officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends until services at the funeral home. Mr. Hill died Friday at University Hospital in Birmingham. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hettie Hill of Lineville, two daughters Mrs. Pat Nelson of Lineville and Mrs. Lucille Thrower of Montgomery, two sons Billy Hill and Charles Hill, both of Lineville; his mother Mrs. Arrie Hill of Lineville; five sisters, Mrs. Ina Parmer of LaGrange, Ga., Miss Gertrude Hill, Mrs. Sara Griffin and Mrs. Hilda Duke, all of Lineville and Mrs. Vivian Arquello, of San Diego, Calif.; four brothers, J.D. Hill Jr., Holly Hill and Gene Hill, all of Lineville, Floyd Hill of Heflin; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Buster Hudgins, Donald Prestridge, Harvis Whaley, Bill Nolen, Harvey Dukes, and Pat Ayres. Mr. Hill was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. He was retired from the Randolph County Road Department and a member of Dingler's Chapel Christian Church.
