Anniston Star
Roosevelt Hill, 66, of Wedowee, Rt. 1, died Friday unexpectedly. Funeral 
services will be today at 3:15 p.m. at Union Hill Congregational Methodist 
Church with the Rev. Leroy Murphy and the Rev. Gordon Taylor officiating. Burial 
will be in the adjoining cemetery with Blair Brown-Service Funeral Home in 
charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha Hill of Wedowee; a daughter, 
Mrs. Ray Fell of Birmingham; two sons, Lloyd Hill of Kermit, Tex. and Lowell 
Hill of Birmingham: four sisters, Mrs. Lonnie Huckaby, Mrs. Minnie Craven, Mrs. 
Velma Warren, and Mrs. Myrthel Rogers, all of Anniston; a brother, Onward Hill 
of Heflin; stepmother, Mrs. Mary Hill of Wedowee ; five grandchildren. 
Pallbearers will be Doyle Foster, Morris Waters, Jimmy Holmes, Bill Huckaby, 
Charles Hill, P. O. Craven.
