OBITUARIES:

Mrs. Lora Hodges

   (COLUMBUS, GA.) Mrs. Lora Eletha Marshall Hodges, age 85, of 4109 Canady 
Street, Columbus, Ga., died Friday, Aug. 28, 1981. She is a former resident of 
Randolph County.
   Mrs. Hodges is survive by one son, John R. Hodges of Columbus; three 
brothers, John H. Marshall of Washington, D.C., Clarence G. Marshall of Wadley, 
and Walter R. Marshall of Gulfport, Miss.; two sisters, Mrs. LaVicie Foster of 
Roanoke and Mrs. Lois Strickland of Huguley; and three grandchildren.
   Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Hodges from the Macedonia Baptist 
Church at Level Roads near Wadley on Sunday, Aug. 30, with the Revs. E.G. Clark 
and Maley G. Cofield officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

[Lora, b. Dec 14, 1895, is the daughter of John Costello Marshall, Jr. and Ada 
Sophronia Mobley; married Jim Luther Hodges who preceded her in death in 1950.]
