Services for Mrs. Nellie Rue Holloway, 73, of Newell were today at Levens 
Baptist Church with the Rev. Gordon Taylor and the Rev. Bernard Fuller 
officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of 
Wedowee in charge. Mrs. Holloway died Saturday at Wedowee Hospital. Survivors 
include her husband, Esul Holloway of Newell; a daughter, Mrs. Sue Farrow of 
Newell; two brothers, Charlie Will McCain of La Grange, Ga., and Kermit McCain 
of Newell; three grandsons and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Junior 
Nelson, Bill Nelson, Troy White, Buddy Holloway, Tony McCain and Gary Holloway. 
Mrs. Holloway, a homemaker, was a Randloph County native and a retired employee 
of Handley Textile Co. She was a member of Cavers Grove Congregational Christian 
Church
