Lemuel Stanton Hornsby, 61, of Wedowee, Rt. 2, died Saturday at 10:15 p.m. 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nora Lee Johns Hornsby of Wedowee, Rt. 2; four 
sons, William Hornsby of Lanett and Robert, Harold and Herman Hornsby, all of 
Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Miss Margaret Hornsby of Fairfax, Mrs. Ramona 
Simpson of Bowdon, Ga., and Mrs. Vivian Poole of Wedowee, Rt. 2, and a brother, 
Orlando Hornsby of Lanett. Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. in 
Friendship Christian Church in Randolph County with the Rev. Bill Spradlin 
officiating. Burial will, be in the Randolph Memory Gardens in Roanoke. 
Pallbearers will be DeWitt Wilder, Calvin Weaver, Laneford Huey, David Howell, 
Roy Doug Huey and Robert Wilson. Quattlebaum Brown-Service Funeral Home of 
Roanoke will be in charge of arrangements.
