Funeral services for Mrs. Ola Hornsby, 89. formally of Wedowee, Rt. 2, were held 
Friday from the Friendship Christian Church in Randolph County with the Rev. Hal 
Simpson and the Rev. Charles Snider officiating with burial in the church 
cemetery. Quattlebaum's Brown Service Funeral Home was charge of arrangements. 
Grandsons served as pallbearers - William, Robert, Harold, Herman and Calvin 
Hornsby. Mrs. Hornsby was the widow of Lemuel Hornsby of Randolph, County and a 
member of Friendship Christian Church. She is survived by two sons. Orlando 
Hornsby of Lanett and Stanton (Stan) of Wedowee, Rt. 2; a brother, Theodore Duke 
of Birmingham; 14 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.
