Elmo M Horton 67 of Lanett died Saturday in Wedowee. The funeral and burial will 
be 2 pm EDT today at Levins Chapel Baptist Church Wedowee according to McCarthy 
Funeral Home West Point Ga., Mr. Horton was born Oct 19, 1920, in Roanoke son of 
Mr. and Mrs. Willard Horton. He retired from Lanett Mill after 43 years and he 
attended the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife Ella Mae Horton 
his mother Musie Horton of Auburn, a sister Ida Grace Whitermore of Palmetto Ga, 
a brother Everett Willard Horton of Auburn.
