Mrs. Effie Wilson Howell 81 of 501 21st St Phenix City died Wednesday night at 
Cobb Memorial Hospital Mrs. Howell had lived in Phenix City 29 years She was born 
in Wedowee Ala on Oct 13, 1888, a daughter of the late George and Jossie Whitten 
Wilson. She was a member of Congregational Methodist Church. Survivors include 
three daughters Mrs. Gladys Johnson Fort Pierce Fla, Mrs. R L Fincher Oxford Ala 
and Mrs. Hubert Brazzell Wilmington Del., a stepdaughter Mrs. Eva Howell 
Cedartown Ga a son George Bolt Phenix City two stepsons Earnest Howell Tennessee 
and David Howell Wedowee, a brother Rudy Wilson Montgomery Ala, nine 
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She is buried Liberty Grove Cemetery, Randolph County.
