Services for Virgil Hunter, 74, of Lineville will be Friday at 2 p.m. at 
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Delta with Revs. Craig McClure, Clerence Brown, 
C.L. Staples and Theodore Hale officiating. Burial will be in the church 
cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 4-7 at Garrett Funeral 
Home. The body will be at the church an hour before services. Mr. Hunter died 
Jan. 31. at. Clay County Hospital in Ashland. Survivors include his wife, lima 
Hunter of Lineville; three daughters, Mary A. Hunter, Nadetta Stephens and 
Angela Zackery, all of Ashland; six sons, Roy Lee Hunter and Charlie Ed Hunter, 
both of Indapolis, Rev. Virgil Hunter Jr. of Lineville, Terry Stephens, Derrall 
Stephens and Jeffery Stephens, all of Ashland; one sister, Willie Ruth Cooty of 
New York; 33 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
