OBITUARY:

Mrs. Nora Hurley

     Mrs. Martha Nora Hurley, 70, of Wedowee, died at 11 o'clock Tuesday night, 
March 11.
     Mrs. Hurley is survived by five sons; James H., Handley, and Charles of 
Wedowee, Pierce of Roanoke, A. C. of College Park; one daughter, Miss Bertha 
Hurley, of Wedowee; fourteen grandchildren; one sister,  Mrs. C. A. Brown, of 
Rogers, Texas; one brother, J. D. Kirby, of Wedowee.
     Funeral services were held at Mt. Pleasant Church at 2 o'clock Thursday 
afternoon, March 13, Rev. W. W. Lankford officiating.  Interment was in Mt. 
Pleasant cemetery, Quattlebaum's Funeral Home in charge.

[Martha Lenora is the daughter of Pleasant Bolen Kirby & Millie Liles; was 
married to James Critenden Hurley, who preceded her in 1933]
