James 61, of Delta. Rt. 1. died yesterday afternoon at her home following a lengthy illness. She had been living in that community the past IS years and was a member of the Center West Baptist Church. She formerly lived in Anniston. Funeral services will be conducted from Usrey's Chapel at 10 o'clock Saturday morning by the Rev. R. E. House and the Rev. T. P. Clifton. Mrs. James is survived by her husband; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Bonnie Williams. Mrs. Sallie Cannon, Mrs. Annie Marlow, and Mrs. Susie Helton, all of Anniston; two brothers, Ed Haywood of Montgomery and Shug Haywood of Sylacauga; and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Henderson and Miss Ada Haywood, of Sylacauga.
