A CONFEDERATE SOLDIER DEAD

The remains of Mr. Wm. B. Johnson, who died at the Confederate home at 
Mountain Creek, near Montgomery, were brought to Roanoke Monday and taken to 
the family burying ground for interment.  He was a crippled veteran, whose 
home was in this county before going to the home near Montgomery. He was a 
member of the heroic 13th Alabama Regiment, C.S.A.

Additional Comments:
William B. was captured at Gettysburg during the war. He was living in Bursons 
precinct in 1910. The notice does not say the exact date that he died or where he 
was buried
