She was 61 years old at the time of her death at the Anniston Memorial Hospital. Burial was in the cemetery adjacent to the Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church following services there on Monday, April 8, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. David Vinson, Rev. Lewis Morris, Rev George Wiggins and Rev. Joe Brown officiated at the ceremony. Those surviving Mrs. Johnson are her husband, Wilburn W. Johnson, of Rt. 1, Heflin; two daughters, Mrs. Wilburlene Bearden and Mrs. Barbara Glasgow of Heflin; two sons, Neal of Oxford and Coolidge of Rt. 1, Heflin; two sisters. Mrs. Pear! Hand, Rt. 1, Heflin and Mrs. Ruth Smith of Bessemer; one brother, Otis Wood, Heflin; and three grandchildren. Dryden Funeral Home of Heflin was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
