Services for Coolidge "Coot" Johnson, 66, of Heflin were today at Pilgrim's Rest 
Baptist Church with Revs. David Screws and John Brown officiating. Burial was in 
the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge. Mr. 
Johnson died Monday at his home. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jessie Mae 
Johnson of Heflin; a daughter, Mrs. Raphaela Maria Johnson of Heflin; and two 
sisters, Mrs. Wilburlene Bearden and Mrs. Barbara Glasgow, both of Heflin. A 
Randolph County native, Mr. Johnson was a heavy equipment operator and worked 
with the city of Oxford and Randolph County Highway Department. He was a member 
of Delta Masonic Lodge.
