The Columbus Ledger
William T. Johnson 57 was found dead in his truck near here Friday after 
apparently suffering a heart attack. He had been missing two days. A native of 
Randolph County Ala. He had lived in Hogansville 14 years and was an employe of 
Uniroyal tire company. He was a son of the late Tom and Dolly Cook Johnson. 
Funeral will be today at 2:30 pm at McKibben Funeral Home chapel with burial in 
Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery Surviving are the widow Mrs. Lucy Crawford 
Johnson, a son James W. Johnson Hogansville, a sister Mrs. Lucile Andrews 
Hogansville and two brothers Leroy Johnson Hogansville Jessie Johnson Phenix 
City.
