ANTHONY DEAD ---------------------------- Mr. Melton ANTHONY died in Lowell last Wednesday, after a long period of ill health. He was 30 years of age and leaves a wife and three children. The interment occurred at Lebanon Thursday at noon, after services conducted by Rev. Henry LANDERS. Ollie ANTHONY and Children [From The Roanoke Leader (Randolph County, Alabama), 28 July 1915, p.1] ---------- John Melton ANTHONY, 29 November 1877—14 July 1915, Mary Ollie ANTHONY, 19 September 1885—20 January 1954, his wife, Mary ANTHONY MITCHUM, 17 February 1902—19 April 1928, his daughter, All interred together in Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery, Randolph County, Alabama. Mr. ANTHONY was 37 years old according to his tombstone. Lowell was the mill village of the Handley Manufacturing Company that was later annexed by neighboring Roanoke.
