She was born in Hancock county, Ga., January 9, 1835, and moved to Randolph county, Alabama, at the age of nine years. Her husband was a Confederate soldier and died during the Civil War. The deceased was a member of the Mt. Prospect Baptist Church. She was highly esteemed by all who knew her. Additional Comments: The transcriber has no further knowledge of Mrs. Kerr.
