Mrs. Martha Revee Kerr Dies

Mrs. Martha Reeves Kerr died at her home near Newell last Friday, March 1st, at 
the age of 83 years and her remains were laid to rest in the Masonic cemetery 
at Wedowee last Saturday.  

She was born in Hancock county, Ga., January 9, 1835, and moved to Randolph 
county, Alabama, at the age of nine years.

Her husband was a Confederate soldier and died during the Civil War.

The deceased was a member of the Mt. Prospect Baptist Church.  She was highly 
esteemed by all who knew her.
