DEATH CLAIMS NEWELL WOMAN

Newell, Ala., Oct. 23

Mrs. J.L. Kerr, age 84, died at her residence at Newell on Saturday 
afternoon following an illness of about a year. Funeral services will be 
conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Cool Springs church with Usrey 
in charge. Mrs. Kerr is survived by two sons, J.M. Kerr of Anniston and J.A. 
Kerr of Newell and a daughter Miss Lexie Kerr of Newell.
