The hands of Mr. and Mrs. Key are saturated with oils and medicines necessary to the relief of pain and healing of burns. Indications Saturday night were that many weeks would have to pass before they will be able to use their hands. Mrs. Key also suffered a severe burn on her face and another burn on her leg. Her condition is considered worse than her husband's. Lying abed at St. Michael's Clinic, where he and his wife have been since early Friday night, Mr. Key told of the tragedy which resulted in the death of his oldest child and his aged mother. At intervals, his conversation would revert to the four small children back in Randolph County being cared for by relatives and neighbors. The sudden blaze ignited his clothing, and the other members of the family were burned when they attempted to come to his rescue. Both young Key and his aged grandmother died a few hours later.
