Roanoke Leader
Mrs. Aldora Docia Key, 71, died at her home on Franklin Street on Friday, Sept. 
17. Funeral services were held at Liberty Grove at 3:00 o'clock Saturday 
afternoon, with Rev. G. D. Hunt, Rev. John Dollar, and Rev. Elbert Daniel 
officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, Quattlebaum's Funeral Home in 
charge. Survivors are: two sons, N. D. Key and J. D. Sudduth, both of Roanoke; 
four daughters: Mrs. Gertrude Bozeman, of Franklin, Ga., Mrs. Gusta Richardson, 
of Shawmut, Ala., and Mrs. Nettie Parker and Mrs. Lizzie Shelnutt, both of 
Roanoke; 37 grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
