Theo Lankford Kirby 64 of 803 N Greenwood St died Tuesday at West Georgia 
Medical Center. The funeral will be at Rock Stand Congregational Christian 
Church in Randolph County Ala Thursday at 11 am CST with burial in the church 
cemetery according to Maddox-Page Funeral Home. He was born in Randolph County 
Ala on Dec 21, 1910, son of the late Aubrey and Hattie Willingham Kirby He had 
worked for the United Family Life Insurance Co retiring seven years ago. He is 
survived by his wife Mrs. Lucy Mae Kirby LaGrange, six daughters Mrs. Juanita 
Massey Birmingham Ala, Mrs. Daphine Brown LaGrange, Mrs. Willodene Powell Calera 
Ala, Mrs. Mary Jo Bryant Columbus Mrs, Dorothy Newman and Miss Barbra Kirby both 
of Birmingham a son Mr. Braxton Kirby LaGrange, four sisters Mrs. Naomi Beverly 
Roanoke Ala, Mrs. Doris Hurley and Mrs. Hannie Williamson both of Wedowee Ala, 
and Mrs. Nil Reagan Hazelhurst Ga ,three brothers Thurman Kirby Montgomery Ala 
Junior Kirby Roanoke and Charlie Kirby Hazelhurst and nine grandchildren.
