Miss Mamie Iona Kirby 61 1107 Second Ave died Sunday at City-County Hospital. 
Funeral was to be at 4 pm EST today at Rock Stand Congregational Christian Church 
Rock Stand Ala with burial in the church cemetery. Miss Kirby was born on Nov 24, 
1905, in Randolph County Ala a daughter of the late J.N. and Ada Harmon Kirby. 
She was a member of Rock Stand Congregational Christian Church and was a resident 
of LaGrange 14 years. Survivors include three sisters Mrs. Pervin Holder 
Gainesville Fla., Mrs. Sidney H Sony Houston Tex., and Mrs. Carl Benefield 
LaGrange and four brothers Willie, Gay and Earl Kirby all of LaGrange and James 
Hobson Kirby West Point.
