Fred Kitchens died at a Roanoke hospital Wednesday afternoon He was about seventh 
years old and resided all his life in the Levins community. He was useful 
citizen, and his community will miss him. He served as Justice of the Peace of 
his home precinct over a long period of time. Surviving are the widow, four sons 
and four daughters and a number of grandchildren. All reside in the home 
community except one son, who is with the Army in the Pacific. Funeral services. 
are to be held today at Levins and interment will be in Levins Cemetery.
