Roanoke Leader
Mrs. Sarah Frances Knight, age 79, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
John Bradford, Lineville, Ala., Rt. 1, on Saturday, November 20. She is survived 
by her husband, H. R. Knight, of Lineville, Rt. 1; five daughters: Mrs. John 
Bradford, Mrs. Robert McCullers, of Lineville, Mrs. Corlin Harris, of Big 
Springs, Mrs. W. D. Shelnutt, of Wedowee, and Mrs. Nealy Sharman, of Roanoke; one 
son, Jesse, of Ocala, Fla. Funeral services were held at the Ophelia Baptist 
Church near Lineville Sunday, Nov. 21, at 3:00 p. m. with the Rev. Burton Martin, 
Rev. Ben Mathews, and the Rev. Mr. Bean in charge. Interment was in the adjoining 
cemetery.
