Funeral services for J. D. Knight aged 27, who died Tuesday at home of his 
sister, Mrs. J. C. Boggs, at Delta following an illness of eight months were 
conducted at Christiana Church in Randolph County. Wednesday afternoon the Rev. 
J. F. Ingram and The Rev. J. B. Jones. Interment was in the church cemetery, with 
White's charge. Pallbearers were Houston Dial. Gwinn Garrett, Tillman Stevens, S. 
J. McCullough, Harwell Smith and John McCollough. Mr. Knight was formerly 
employed in federal geological survey work but quit because of 1U health several 
months ago. He is survived by a brother, Marvin Knight of New Orleans, and two 
sisters, Mrs. Boggs and Mrs. S. C. Yates of Lineville.
