E. M. GLENN conducted the funeral of Mr. K. PEAK, who formerly lived in this place, but whose death occurred at his home in Columbus [Ga.]. He was a good citizen, and a brother to Mrs. W. A. PEEK BURDEN, 27 August 1848—25 December 1934, his sister, William A. BURDEN, 16 October 1848—18 May 1930, his brother-in-law, Both interred in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke, Randolph County, Alabama. There are many PEEKs interred in the New Harmony Christian Church Cemetery located across the Randolph County line in Clay County, Alabama.
